ART BLITZ 2016

Students from SJC’s Art Club participated in the 2016 City of Kingston ArtBlitz art competition. The theme this year was ‘space’ and Art Club members had just 24 hours to respond to the theme, create an artwork, and get it to the gallery! The theme was announced at 5pm on Friday, framed artworks were delivered to the gallery by 5pm on Saturday, and the exhibition opened on Sunday afternoon. This competition was a great opportunity for students to have their work exhibited in a professional public gallery. Congratulations to year 8 student, Zac H, who sold his work!
