2015 ARTBLITZ - CITY OF KINGSTON

Students from SJC's Art Club participated in the 2015 City of Kingston 'ArtBlitz' art competition. The theme this year was 'fusion' and Art Club members had just 24 hours to respond to the theme, create an artwork and get it to the gallery!

The theme was announced at 5pm on Friday, framed artworks were delivered to the gallery by 5pm on Saturday and the exhibition opened on Sunday afternoon. The SJC artroom was opened up for the day on Saturday for students to develop, create and frame their artworks.

This competition was a great 'real world' opportunity for students to have their work exhibited in a professional public gallery.
