VINNIES 'JUST ART'

Congratulations to year 9 student Daryl T whose artwork was selected for exhibition in the Vinnies ‘Just Art’ competition. This year’s theme was ‘First Australians – Stories of Humanity’ – this theme was selected as it is a contemporary and relevant social justice issue that is challenging the Australian conscience. Daryl created a beautiful pencil drawing of Neville Bonner, the first Indigenous Australian to become a member of the Parliament of Australia. Vinnies received over three hundred entries and the exhibition was held at the Stables in North Melbourne.
